*ACIM Lesson 350*

*“Miracles mirror God’s eternal Love.

To offer them is to remember Him,

and through His memory to save the world.”*

I. The Core Teaching

This lesson tells you something very simple and very radical:

  • A miracle is not a flashy event.
  • A miracle is a change in your mind from fear to love.
  • When you let this change happen, you are remembering God.
  • And as you remember God, the world you see is “saved”—it is reinterpreted through love instead of fear.

What is the ego trying to hide?

The ego’s main strategy is to convince you that:

1. *You are separate* – from God, from others, and even from your own true Self.

2. *You are guilty* – and that this guilt is justified and permanent.

3. *The world is the proof* – the suffering, conflict, sickness, and death you see seem to prove that separation and guilt are real.

The ego wants you to believe:

  • “I am a body, vulnerable and alone.”
  • “Others can hurt me, and I can hurt them.”
  • “Love is weak and impractical; defense and attack are necessary.”

If you accept this, you will live in constant low-level fear, even when things seem to be going well. The ego hides the fact that this fear is chosen in the mind, not imposed from outside. It hides that you have another Teacher within you.

What is the Holy Spirit revealing?

The Holy Spirit, the Voice for God in your mind, reveals the opposite:

1. *You are still as God created you* – pure, innocent, and whole.

2. *Separation never truly happened* – it is a dream of fear, not a fact.

3. *The world you see is a projection of your mind* – and therefore it can be reinterpreted.

When you allow a miracle, you are allowing the Holy Spirit to reinterpret what you see:

  • From attack to a call for love.
  • From guilt to innocence.
  • From punishment to correction.
  • From hopelessness to a quiet certainty that Love is here.

“Miracles mirror God’s eternal Love” means:

  • Every time you choose forgiveness instead of judgment, you are *reflecting* God’s Love into your awareness.
  • You are not creating Love; you are allowing it to shine through you.
  • You are remembering God by remembering that Love is your true nature.

“To offer them is to remember Him”:

  • You remember God *by giving* what you want to remember.
  • When you extend kindness, you are teaching your own mind: “Love is real. I am safe. We are one.”

“And through His memory to save the world”:

  • The “world” that is saved is the world as you perceive it.
  • Salvation is a change in perception: from a world of enemies and danger to a classroom of forgiveness and shared innocence.

II. Applied to Daily Life

Let’s bring this into very concrete situations.

1. Relationships

Imagine you feel hurt by a partner, friend, or family member. The ego says:

  • “They are guilty.”
  • “I must protect myself.”
  • “I will withdraw, attack, or hold a grudge.”

A miracle here would be:

  • You pause and say inwardly:

“Holy Spirit, show me this differently.”

  • You are willing to see that their behavior, however mistaken, is either an expression of love or a call for love.
  • You let go of the need to punish.

You might still set healthy boundaries, but the inner tone shifts from attack to compassion. That shift is the miracle. In that moment, you are mirroring God’s Love to both of you. You remember: “We are not separate enemies; we are both confused children of God, still innocent in truth.”

2. Work and Career

At work, you may feel competition, stress, or resentment:

  • “They don’t appreciate me.”
  • “I must defend my position.”
  • “I am under threat.”

The miracle:

  • You remember: “My worth is given by God, not by my boss, my salary, or my performance.”
  • You silently bless your coworkers, including the difficult ones:

“May I see you as God created you, not as my fear paints you.”

  • You choose honesty and kindness over subtle attack or gossip.

Externally, nothing dramatic may change at first. Internally, you are shifting from fear to trust. You are saving the “world of work” in your mind by allowing it to become a place where you practice forgiveness instead of reinforcing separation.

3. Illness

When the body is sick, the ego uses it as “proof”:

  • “See? You are just a body.”
  • “You are weak, vulnerable, and doomed.”

A miracle does not demand that you deny symptoms or refuse help. It invites you to:

  • Seek appropriate care, but without making the body your identity.
  • Say: “This body is not what I am. I am still as God created me.”
  • Use the experience to deepen trust:

“Holy Spirit, let this be used for healing my mind, not for strengthening fear.”

You might notice more peace, less panic, and a gentler attitude toward yourself and others who suffer. That peace is the miracle. It reflects God’s Love even in the midst of pain.

4. Anxiety and Daily Stress

Traffic, bills, deadlines, news, family demands—these can all trigger anxiety. The ego whispers:

  • “You are alone in this.”
  • “If you don’t control everything, you’re not safe.”

The miracle:

  • You pause, breathe, and invite another way of seeing:

“Miracles mirror God’s eternal Love. Let me see this situation through Love, not fear.”

  • You remember that your safety lies in God, not in circumstances.
  • You treat yourself gently instead of harshly criticizing your fear.

Even a small softening—a little less tension, a bit more willingness to trust—is a miracle. It is a reflection of the Love that has never left you.

III. Overcoming Resistance

Why might this lesson feel difficult?

1. *Fear of losing control*

The ego believes that if you let Love lead, you will be weak, naive, or taken advantage of. It equates control with safety.

The Course gently shows that control is a burden, not a protection. Love does not make you weak; it makes you clear, calm, and truly guided.

2. *Fear of losing your identity*

If you are not the separate, struggling self you think you are, then who are you?

The ego fears that if you remember God, you will disappear.

The truth is the opposite: you will remember your real Self—limitless, loved, and loving.

3. *Attachment to grievances*

There can be a secret satisfaction in being “right” about how wrong others are.

Letting go of grievances can feel like letting them “off the hook.”

The Course assures you: forgiveness is not saying the error was true but acceptable; it is saying the error was never true in God’s creation. You are freeing your own mind.

4. *Doubt that miracles are real*

You may think, “My mind is too dark,” or “My situation is too complicated.”

But a miracle is not about fixing the form; it is about changing the purpose in your mind—from fear to love. That is always possible, in any moment.

If you notice resistance, do not judge it. Simply notice:

“This is my fear of Love. Holy Spirit, help me be willing to be willing.”

IV. Today’s Practice

Here is a simple way to practice Lesson 350 throughout the day.

1. Morning Quiet Time (5–15 minutes)

  • Sit comfortably, close your eyes if you like.
  • Slowly repeat the idea:

**“Miracles mirror God’s eternal Love.

To offer them is to remember Him,

and through His memory to save the world.”**

  • Let the words sink in gently. No force.
  • Say inwardly:

“Holy Spirit, I am willing to be a giver of miracles today.

Use my thoughts, words, and actions to reflect God’s Love.”

Pause in silence for a few minutes. Just rest. If thoughts come, let them pass like clouds.

2. Setting the Intention

Before you start your day’s activities, say:

  • “I choose to see with the Holy Spirit today.

Let every encounter be an opportunity to offer a miracle—

a shift from fear to love.”

3. During the Day: In Every Situation

Whenever you feel upset, stressed, or tempted to judge:

1. *Pause.* Take one or two slow breaths.

2. *Acknowledge:*

“I am seeing through fear right now.”

3. *Ask:*

“Holy Spirit, let me see this as a chance to offer a miracle.”

4. *Affirm the lesson:*

“Miracles mirror God’s eternal Love.

Let me remember God here.”

Then, look for the smallest loving response you can offer:

  • A kind word instead of a sharp one.
  • A moment of listening instead of interrupting.
  • A silent blessing instead of an inner attack.

4. Evening Reflection

Before sleep, take a few minutes to review your day:

  • Where did you remember to offer a miracle?

Acknowledge those moments with gratitude.

  • Where did you forget and choose fear?

Offer those moments to the Holy Spirit:

“I give You these situations.

Correct my perception so I may see them through Love.”

End with the idea once more:

  • “Miracles mirror God’s eternal Love.

I am willing to remember Him and let the world be saved in my mind.”

V. Comparable ACIM Lessons

Several lessons are closely related:

  • **Lesson 77: “I am entitled to miracles.”**

Establishes that miracles are your natural inheritance as God’s Son.

  • **Lesson 89 (Review): “I am entitled to miracles.” / “Let miracles replace all grievances.”**

Connects miracles directly with the release of grievances.

  • **Lesson 105: “God’s peace and joy are mine.”**

Shows that your natural state is peace and joy, which miracles restore to your awareness.

  • **Lesson 158: “Today I learn to give as I receive.”**

Miracles are given and received simultaneously; what you give, you strengthen in yourself.

  • **Lesson 349: “Today I let Christ’s vision look upon all things for me and judge them not, but give each one a miracle of love instead.”**

The lesson just before 350, emphasizing that Christ’s vision is the source of miracles.

All of these help you see that miracles are not rare events, but a way of seeing—a steady choice for Love over fear.

VI. Closing Thought

Today, you are not asked to be perfect. You are only asked to be willing—willing to let even one situation be reinterpreted by Love instead of fear.

Every time you choose that, no matter how small it seems, a miracle occurs. It mirrors God’s eternal Love in your mind, and in that reflection, the world is gently, quietly, lovingly saved.
